Apple Thinks AI Reasoning Sucks, Here's Why They’re Jumping the Gun

So Apple decided to wag a finger at the entire AI industry, essentially saying, 'Hey, your AI may be good at writing love poems to tacos, but it’s not actually reasoning, folks.' Cute take.

Very high horse of them.

Apple Says AI Is a Fancy Parrot

According to some recent Apple PR disguised as research, today's AI models are glorified parrots: they mimic, they guess, they hallucinate more than your college roommate in Amsterdam.

Basically, Apple says that AI is making stuff up with the confidence of a washed-up magician, you know, all flair, no substance.

LLMs Are Still Toddlers

But here's the kicker.

These Large Language Models (LLMs) that Apple is side-eyeing?

They're still toddlers.

Sure, they drool and occasionally try to eat crayons, but that doesn’t mean you cancel kindergarten.

You teach them how to stop eating glue and maybe, just maybe, how to beat humans at logic in ten years.

Apple’s take is like yelling at a caterpillar for not being a butterfly yet.

Mock First, Ship Later

Ironically, they're also secretly building their own cocoon while pretending not to care.

Classic Apple move: show up late to the party, mock the DJ, then drop their own mix six months later with ‘revolutionary’ features like... reasoning.

And while Apple criticizes AI’s “hallucinations,” let's not forget autocorrect once changed ‘meeting’ to ‘meat king.’ So maybe chill on the judgment?

AI Reasoning Is Evolving Fast

Look, AI's reasoning ain’t perfect.

But it’s evolving fast, like ‘from dial-up to Wi-Fi in a blink’ fast.

So Apple yapping that it isn’t good enough yet makes them sound less like a visionary and more like the guy at the gym yelling, ‘You’re doing it wrong!’ while eating Cheetos in the sauna.

The Grumpy Uncle Problem

Bottom line: AI reasoning has problems, sure, but pointing them out like a smug middle school teacher isn’t helping.

Especially when you're building your own AI behind closed Cupertino doors.

So maybe Apple should take a deep breath, unclench a little, and realize: criticizing the growing kid doesn’t make you a genius.

It just makes you the grumpy uncle who still uses a flip phone.
