I Cloned My Writing Style With Claude

People keep asking if AI writes my stuff. The honest answer is yes and no, which is the answer nobody likes but it is the truth.

I gave Claude three of my best posts. Not twenty. Three. Then I told it what my voice sounds like in plain English: punchy, sarcastic, no corporate filler, jokes in parentheses (like this one).

Then I saved it. Now every draft comes out sounding like me. My words. My rhythm. My takes. The model is not inventing my opinions, it is matching my style to the thing I am actually trying to say.

You do not need a thousand examples to clone your voice. You need three good ones and an honest description of how you sound.

I still edit, but the blank page is dead

Let me be clear: I still read every word and I still cut, fix, and rewrite. AI did not replace me. It replaced the worst part of my job, which was staring at an empty document waiting for the first sentence to show up.
