Your AI Is Confident When It's Wrong

The scariest thing about AI is not that it gets things wrong. Everything gets things wrong. The scary part is how absolutely sure it sounds while doing it.
No hesitation. No "I think." Just confident, fluent, polished nonsense delivered with the calm authority of someone who is definitely lying to you.
Confidence is not correctness
A human expert who is unsure usually sounds unsure. You can hear the hedging and adjust your trust accordingly. AI does not do that. It hands you a wrong answer in the exact same confident tone it uses for a right one.
That is what makes it dangerous. You cannot tell the good output from the bad output by vibe, because the vibe is identical. Smooth and certain, every time, whether or not it is true.
The danger is not that AI is wrong. It is that wrong and right come out sounding exactly the same.
Run it twice
My fix is simple. Run it twice. The first time, it does the work. The second time, a different session checks that work against my rules, as a fresh reviewer with no ego invested in the first answer.
That second pass catches an error about once a week. Takes two extra minutes. And it saves me from the thing I actually fear, which is confidently sending bad work to a client and finding out later.
Two minutes of double-checking beats one awkward apology email. Add the second pass.
